I feel confident that this has been a great step forward for me
At the beginning of the program, I wanted to gain more confidence in myself. Confidence in my body, and confidence that I can make positive change in my life. I was aprehensive about starting as I wasn't sure if I could really self-manage. What I have found, through Mags guidance, is that it's not about being perfect all the time - it's about being as consistent as I can be. I know I'm not always able to get the right amount of whatever I need. But what I do know is that I am able to make the right choices on what my body needs. I have also learnt that incidental exercise is really important and is just as important as strength exercise. It has been great to be able to do the exercises at home in my own time. Also, being a busy Mum, I don't feel so hard on myself when I don't get around to exercising. It's just a matter of being consistent with movement. My body image talk and thoughts have changed. I feel more positive about my body. It has also made me want to positive so my kids will in turn be more positive about their bodies. This program has worked on all aspects of me - body, mind and soul. I celebrate the achievements of my week, even the little wins! I am really glad that I took on this challenge. Mags has really helped me think about what is important to fuel my body, how I should think about myself, and how to make positive change in small steps. Mags has also shown me that I can take a consistent approach to a lifestyle change. I feel confident that this has been a great step forward for me, and thank Mags for all her support and guidance.
