What Can You Expect from the Body Confident Mama Project?
Another key reason for the success of the Body Confident Mama Project is the focus on strengthening your core and pelvic floor.
Why is this so important? Well, your pelvis and core are more powerful than you might think!
If your core and pelvic floor muscles don’t work properly, this can lead to a huge range of health issues, including pain and discomfort in other areas of your body (such as your back, knees and hips), as well as problems such as incontinence and bladder weakness, prolapse, and sexual dysfunction.
Rebuilding these muscles is also essential for mums who’ve experienced abdominal separation, to restore and support this key area of the body.
If you’ve had children – whether it was six months ago or six years ago – your core and pelvic floor muscles may be weakened and not functioning optimally. By focusing on strengthening these areas, I help you build your strength from the inside out, which will ensure your training is as effective as possible.
